Begum Khaleda Zia, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson, is reported to be in much better health than she has been in recent times.

This update came from her personal doctor, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, a BNP Standing Committee member, after an Iftar and prayer event in East London on Monday evening, where people gathered to pray for her speedy recovery.

Dr. Zahid Hossain shared, "BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is now doing much better than before. She is being treated by doctors at her eldest son, Tarique Rahman‍‍`s house."

He also mentioned that Khaleda Zia sent her Ramadan greetings to the people of Bangladesh, wishing them well during this holy month.

Khaleda Zia was brought to the United Kingdom for advanced medical treatment on January 7, after traveling in a special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar.

Upon arrival, she was admitted to The London Clinic, where she was placed under the care of a medical board led by liver specialist, Professor John Patrick Kennedy.

Following 18 days of treatment, Khaleda Zia was discharged from the hospital and, under the advice of her doctors, moved to her son Tarique Rahman’s home on January 24.

Since then, she has been receiving ongoing treatment at her residence, continuing under the guidance of her medical team.

Her improved health brings hope to her supporters, and the latest updates reassure the public that she is in good hands.
